Register your device in 3 simple steps

1. Press and hold the power button on your device. For the fastest setup experience, open the Amazon Kindle app on your phone and enable Simple Setup in the app's settings before you power on your Kindle.
2. Select the device language and connect to a wireless network.
3. Enter your existing Amazon username and password, or create an account.

If you purchased your Kindle as a gift, you can forward this email to your gift recipient to help them with setup. Future communication will be sent to them upon device registration.
