Давно я не брал в руки отвёртку. Перестало хватать места на линуксном ноутбуке, решил докупить второй диск NVME. Изначально на Lenovo ThinkPad P1 стоял диск SSD 500 Гбайт. Предустановленный Windows 10 я ужал до половины, и на освободившиеся 250 Гбайт поставил Ubuntu. Их хватало некоторое время, но аппетиты растут. К счастью, имеется слот для второго диска NVME M.2.

Установка оказалась на удивление несложной. Отвинчиваем винтики на задней крышке и снимаем её:

Первый свой жёсткий диск я купил в 1993 году, это был Maxtor 500Mbytes за $500. Нынче 1Tbyte обошёлся в $100. В две тысячи раз толще и в пять раз дешевле.

Забавно, что эпоха механических дисков началась и закончилась у меня на глазах. Я застал время, когда никаких дисков не было: были барабаны. Потом появились флопики, потом жёсткие диски, потом CD. И вот всё это ушло в небытие. Новое время - новые носители.
