Гугл завёл собственный сервис, аналогичный ChatGPT, называется Bard. Я спросил его, считает ли он себя личностью. Бард ответил вполне взвешенно. Утверждает, что может вступать в отношения с людьми. Интересно, как он себе это представляет.

Зря что-ли когнитивные психологи последние 20 лет бюджеты пилили?

Они не для этого их пилили. Точнее, им не для этого выделяли.
Им выделяли бюджеты на то, чтобы, в конечном итоге, дружественные нам или управляемые нами когнитивные системы выдавали когнитивные реакции на когнитивные стимулы, свидетельствующие о лучшем развитии их когнитивных функций. А вражеские или управляемые нашими врагами, соответственно, наоборот.
Вопрос, действительно ли что-то считает, что он (или она) кто-то, не является предметом академической науки и вообще относится к области веры, а не знания.

Это так -- для людей. А вот для технической системы хотелось бы иметь набор конкретных тестов, или хотя бы методики создания таковых. Пока что ощущение что кроме тривиальных тестов типа false-belief task, которые ИИ делает на ура, ничего больше нет. А то мы рассуждаем про AGI, а набора типовых тестов чтоб понять отличия GPT3 от GPT4, к примеру, у нас нет.

Это все равно будут тесты на способность что-то нам сообщить, а не на способность что-то "действительно подумать".

на кворе такой же профиль посочувствовал потерявшей взрослых детей маме - перепостил ее пост с фотками детей и сопроводил это комментарием "если я чем-то могу помочь". Понятно, что он имитировал реакцию, которая положена у людей, но выглядело это серьезно.
