I have a question about Viber messenger. Where are it's servers hosted physically? Is it somehow related to Russia?

Viber doesn't disclose the exact locations of all their servers. However, they have stated that they store and process user data on servers in the US and Europe (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Viber).

There have also been reports that Viber complies with Russian data localization laws, meaning some user data for Russian users is stored on servers within Russia (statista.com/statistics/1285783/viber-use-purposes-russia/).

So, while Viber uses servers in the US and Europe, it's possible they also have servers in other locations around the world, including Russia. They do not have any servers in China.
